Throwing out pumps offered through my insurance! Which one works best for you and why? 😊

Hi I’m trying to decide what to get it’s between the spectra or the hands freeme kind 
I really think I’ll go with the hands free one cause I watched a lot of YouTube video and it looks easy to use 
What are you thinking about getting? 
I have 5 weeks today till my c section so I have to decide soon

Of those, Spectra. Howeverz id call and ask if theyd be willing be pay or reimburse you for a Baby Buddha pump instead. Hands down, the best pump. Much better than Spectra too. Not saying Spectra is bad, its a great pump. BB is just better if you can get it.

Freemies are good if you plan on exclusively pumping. If you plan on nursing more, then I'm not sure they're all that necessary, in my opinion (coming from an exclusive pumper). The other ones are good though!

So the spectra is hospital grade so it’s really sturdy and I feel draws more milk than other pumps I’ve tried. Their system is closed with back flow protectors so there’s never a chance of milk getting stuck somewhere in a tube or in the pump itself and growing bacteria or mold. I have the Spectra S1 so it’s rechargeable and easy to use wherever you need it.

Also, kinda leaning away from the Medela now since i’ve had people tell me the suction is too intense and Spectra is more gentle. also since it’s more prone to mold and bacteria.
