Glass vs plastic bottles for baby?

I cannot decide between glass or plastic
Bottles. I’ve been reading and glass bottles seem to have a lot of pros in terms of no chemicals and easier to clean and sanitize etc. however they are heavier and can break. What are your thoughts on this? Anyone use both and end up having a preference ?

I’ve had these for over 7 years and NEVER had one of them break and they get tossed, dropped, stepped on, kicked, etc. All three of my kids still use them. I like that they can grow with your child and even you can use them. Worth every penny. I’m not a fan of plastic baby bottles or plastics in general. Too many harmful chemicals.

I recommend these! I had the same dilemma as you. These are silicone which isnt as good as glass but a lot better than plastic. But they arent breakable and arent heavy. 
Also, if you will be sending your child to daycare they wont allow glass bottles because they can break so something to consider if you are.

Glass is absolutely fine. We used glass Dr. Browns bottles in the beginning and we were happy with them, but if you don’t screw the top on perfectly they do leak. We also really liked Pura Kiki bottles. They’re stainless steel with zero plastic parts. We used Avent nipples in our bottles because we didn’t like the Pura Kiki nipples, but the Avent nipples fit perfectly and worked better for us. Pura Kiki bottles don’t leak, they have no toxic chemicals, dishwasher safe, and they’re lighter than glass so my son had no issues holding his own bottles.

My best friend uses glass bottles that have silicon sleeves on them. It’s still the benefit of glass bottles but has some protection against dropping it. I think herobility bottles are a good example of what I’m talking about.
