IVF question

So I had 2 appointments with my RE so far and was just called back today about my blood work. They said everything is perfect other than the fact that I’m not immune to measles and chicken pox and they said that they check everyone for it so they said I had to go get the shots then test again to see if I’m immune before starting IVF. Does anyone know why this is or why this matters?
