I had a late miscarriage before getting pregnant again and then a high risk pregnancy. I definitely developed some anxiety from the miscarriage and the pregnancy and I was starting to feel it was interfering with my relationships with my daughter and my everyday life so my doctor prescribed me 25mg of Sertraline and after much research talking to an OBGYN and my doctor twice I feel the pros outweighs the cons to take it while breastfeeding. I haven’t had any alcohol and my doctor assured me it’s a pretty minimal dose. But has anyone or does anyone know if it’s okay to have a drink while on it? Obviously I would give a bottle or wait the two hours before nursing. I guess I’m just not sure if it would have any effect on my milk or if it’s the same deal as normal with timing your drink with nursing and/or pumping.
