How to announce our pregnancy to struggling to conceive couple?

How are you /would you announce your pregnancy to a couple who's struggling to get pregnant?
My SIL has been trying to get pregnant for over a year now with no luck. We got pregnant this time on first try (third pregnancy, second baby). We are not super close, but see her and her husband regularly and I know how much this type of news can hurt when you are desperate for a baby.
So should we do it face to face? Over the text? Let them find out same time as everyone else or give them heads up? My head is exploding with what would be the best way to tell them🤯

I had same issue. My friend had 3 molar pregnancies since 2018 and has been trying for a baby for so long. When I was going to announce I text her first and told her. I decided on text as she could choose to respond or not herself. I feel a phone call or meeting may have put her in an awkward position.

I appreciate receiving this news via text because it allows me to cry for myself and be happy for the couple at the same time. I can send all the emojis that I know my heart really feels without having to hide the hurt and jealousy on my face.
I also really appreciate it if people make sure that I'm home first so I'm not at work or with friends when I find out.

In contrast to what most people were saying, my SIL and I had spoken about how upset she got during pregnancy announcements and how she hated pretending to be happy and waiting to leave to process her feelings. 
This is why I let her know gently and desperately, instead of some cute announcement to the entire family.

Just had to do this with my SIL who’s been trying for over a yr for my second pregnancy. We aren’t close whatsoever so I did this over text instead of by phone to allow her time and space to process. It was something like:
I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to say this for weeks, but I know there’s no way to do so without hurting you even though I never want to hurt you. I decided a text would allow you as much time and space as you need to process before giving me a response. I am __ weeks pregnant, and while I know this news will be hard to hear I hope you don’t hold any animosity towards me. I am still praying for you and your journey to motherhood, and I can offer support when you want or need it.

I would let them find out the same way and same time as everyone else. Doing something specific for them might make them feel bad or self conscious. We had a similar situation with my brother in law and sister in law and we were so nervous to tell them. In the end they were just as excited as everyone else.

I hope they get pregnant soon. A year is the average amount of time it takes for the average couple times to get pregnant, everyone expects it to be faster though. That being said, I can understand how she’s feeling as we tried for over three years before getting pregnant. If she’s specifically told you it’s hard for her to hear these things I’d just send her a text or tell her in person fee telling everyone else.

I would just let them find out the same time as everyone else. Giving them a heads up might make them feel more self conscious and upset about the fact that they haven’t conceived yet.
I just know when I was struggling to conceive and dealing with multiple losses, both my cousin and my sister got pregnant during that time and they both told me individually before they announced and it just made me feel inferior.
