Does this sound like croup?

My son is snotty (green/yellow) junk coming out of his eyes and has a bad cough when he’s napping but not when he’s up. He’s extremely fussy but only has a 99 temp. If it ain’t croup what do you think it is?

Sounds like a cold. A fever of 102 is usually considered croup or the flu

Sounds exactly like what my LO just had. It was just viral but because of all the drainage in his nose he got pink eye from it trying to drain out of his tear ducts which sounds like what your LO has. He needed antibiotic eye drops and that's it. Bring LO to the doctor because you definitely don't want the goopy eyes getting worse.

My son had croup twice. He had watery eyes, runny nose and a deep barking cough and weird breathing when he woke up from a nap.  He also had a low grade fever 99-100.3

Croup sounds like a bark or like a seal. When my son had croup his cough was so bad he lost consciousness.
