I’m 37+2 and baby is measuring on the larger size due to late diagnosed GDM. I’ve been having contractions for the last 1.5 hours or so. I’ve had BH throughout my 3rd trimester, but these feel different. They’re actually painful and the pain is spread throughout my lower back, lower abdomen, hips, and even into my thighs. They’re irregular right now and lasting 30-45 seconds long on average. Wondering if this happened to anyone else and when/if they went into active labor after?! Last week I was already a little over 1cm dilated (I know this doesn’t really matter and doesn’t indicate labor but I’m just saying!). I have an appointment with my OB tomorrow at 10:45am so I know if I get to 5 min apart I will call otherwise the plan is to wait and see and talk to her tomorrow. Again, any advice or insight to how your experience was is helpful! I feel clueless as a FTM!
