So I was just told by someone who is very religious that my baby is going to die because I don't believe in God. I've never judged anyone for their religion. I've always accepted everyone for whatever they believe in. It's just that I myself am not a religious person. I thought y'all were supposed to preach love and acceptance. Not try to scare people into following a religion😤😡

Christian here ✋ honestly I will never understand why some people do that. I'm so sorry that was said to you. There are sadly many crazies out there that use religion, along with many other things, as a tool to be cruel to others and they give off the impression that this is how religious people are. Those are the kinds of people who simply want to feel better than others, so they pretend to be perfect and try to drag you down. While those people seem to represent us far too often, I want you to know that religious people who are ACTUALLY behaving as they are supposed are entirely different and would never even thing to say a thing like that. Especially when no where, in any religion that i know of, especially my own, implies any beliefs that babies will kill over for their parents lack of belief, or anything relatively to that.

Most religious people I've met are like that unfortunately. I've never been religious. I wasn't raised in a family that was, and once I was placed in foster care they weren't religious either. My father's side of the family (which I was kept away from) are extremely religious and some of the most messed up people I've ever met. My father wasn't around much but, when he was he definitely wasn't a church goer and still isn't too this day. I wasn't swayed one way or another and I developed my own beliefs. I do believe in a higher power but, I do not believe the bible and I never will. I'm more spiritual. Church and religious people aren't really my thing. We usually don't see eye to eye because I believe in equality and morals and not following a book regardless of what it says or who it hurts. 🤷‍♀️
