Progesterone levels

Has anyone ever had normal levels and been prescribed supplement? I was told this is possibly something that should be done since I’ve had reoccurring miscarriages.

No matter your levels, taking a supplement can decrease the chance of a miscarriage. I am getting my level tested tomorrow to see if I need it incase I am pregnant. Then another week to see if I am. Good luck to you!

I’m so sorry. I had two very early ones that they can’t tell me what happened besides one maybe a chemical and not sure on the other.

I was prescribed progesterone prior to my levels being tested so I’m not sure if they were low or not.

Wow! I’m considering switching too bc I never knew being on it with good levels was an option but my endocrinologist recommended me asking RE because she said it could be good and then dropping

Yes! I got pregnant the round that we added the progesterone, which was also when we did our first IUI. Prior to that I was having spotting during the 2WW but my doctor never bothered to check my levels. I ended up switching clinics and did an IUI, progesterone, and am now 10weeks pregnant.

Did you successfully get or stay pregnant?
