Has anyone ever been referred to a pediatric cardiologist that specializes in fetal cardiology? My baby has a possible heart issue, causing the walls of the heart to look a bit thicker than what is normal. So far, the function of the heart and blood flow looks good. But the specialist I originally saw said she wants me to see a fetal cardiologist to look into things further. And to make sure I won’t need to give birth at a different hospital with a special NICU equipped for this sort of thing. I don’t really know what any of it means.
