Echogenic Intracardiac Focus

Rachael

Had our 21 week ultrasound today and everything went great, he is super active, everything is perfect... Except the doctor said our baby boy has an "Echogenic Intracardiac Focus" she told us it is very common and that it is small calculium build up in the heart that will most likely go away as he grows bigger, and that it is nothing to worry about. She said it could be a soft indicator of down syndrome, but my baby's head, body and leg measurements don't match up with down syndrome babies, so he most likely doesnt have DS. She said we can do additional invasive or blood testing to see if he has DS but we decided against it. Has anyone else seen this in their baby?
