How bad does a needle biopsy hurt?

I have to get one and am terrified of needles.

They will definitely use anesthesia. You shouldn't have to see the needle at all. The numbing medicine may feel like a pinch and a sting, but shouldn't be too bad after that.

Its just a prick and seconds later you feel nothing.
I just had 4 shots of local anesthesia and it was just a prick feeling and then nothing .
Dont work yourself up for it. Rhe more you tense up the harder it will be ! 
I'd suggest looking at your phone of a video during the shot for a distraction.  
Or I just plug my ears in and take deep breaths lol. I get botox treatment and its  36ish needles in my head. It's not that bad.

I had a local, like the others said and didn’t feel anything. I was mildly sore later that day and the next day, but nothing serious. Mine was in my breast.
