Lupron Shot?!

This will be my 5th cycle of IUI. First two were with Clomid... 3rd and 4th were with Follistim.

So now they're throwing in the Lupron shots for a few days... then Follistim, then trigger with Ovidrel. I'm a little confused because they didn't really explain to me what the Lupron was supposed to do...

I searched the forum and saw most took Lupron for endometriosis (which I don't have), and that the side effects were really bad and lingered well after they stopped using it.

Can you guys share your knowledge and experiences about Lupron (the good and the bad)? So far I've read about headaches, vaginal dryness, painful sex, and drowsiness.

Help calm my anxiety, thank you!!
