Has anyone ever celebrated their baby turning 6 months?

My dad and I share a birthday so growing up we would always celebrate our half birthday so we could each have “our day.” Id get to pick the birthday cake and he would pick the restaurant for the birthday dinner. Then on our half birthday he’d pick the cake and I’d pick the restaurant. My mom and my sisters birthdays are less than a week apart so they do the same thing as well. My daughter is due a few days after my birthday so I’ll probably celebrate her half birthday too.

I wouldn't. I've never seen anyone do that besides post a photo of the baby with a 6mo sign to just tell people.
