I have a question. PLS HELP.

So my birthday is Sunday, Feb 9th and my nephews is Saturday, Feb 8th. I had already made plans for Sunday Funday with my friends on my actual birthday BUT my brother sent out birthday party invites for his kid and is throwing the party on my birthday. I let him know that I wouldn’t be going to the party bc it’s my birthday and I wanna have a good time BUT I would go visit my nephew and spend time with him on the 8th which is the day of his actual birthday. Am I in the wrong?
