I got the mirena iud last month and I've been spotting since I got it, it really sucks, I'm tired of bleeding everyday even though it's not much. I'm really hoping it stops soon or might consider getting it out

Irregular bleeding/spotting patterns are the most common side effect of progestin only methods like mirena. That can include longer time frames with or without bleeding, random bleeding, or frequent bleeding, at any given time. And, such irregular bleeding is especially common during the first 3–6 months. Give ur body more time to adjust & see what happens.

I love Mirena it's worth it!! I bled for just over a month when I got mine and my first period was 2 weeks. I haven't had a period since July 2018 now though so overall it's less bleeding than if I had normal periods all that time. The bleeding was just all at once. 
Nowadays I can't imagine not having my Mirena and having periods again 😱
