Tattoo while pregnant ?

I have tons already, I just want to see the big upset as to why it’s not recommended. Tattoo convention in a bit and I want to get a hand tattoo buuut. I’m pregnant. Should I wait?

Tattoos cause open wounds and open wounds can become infected. Infection is not good during pregnancy. Any tattoo artist that cares about what they do and their job will not tattoo you if you are pregnant. You can also get ink poisoning depending on how much ink is needed or used in the design. 
It sucks having to wait but it’s definitely safer. Definitely wouldn’t risk the baby’s health over a new tattoo

Guarantee if you mention that you’re pregnant to any legit artist they’ll tell you they won’t tattoo you. 
I have tons of tattoos but I can lay off getting them while I’m pregnant. It’s not about you anymore it’s about your baby. There will be more tattoo conventions that you can go to when you’re not pregnant.

Also don't ask for information then respond to the facts that people give you with "oh but that won't happened to me bc I take care of my tattoos." It's still a risk, even if you keep your tattoos perfectly clean. Don't risk your baby for a tattoo.

The fact that any reputable tattoo artist will not knowingly tattoo a pregnant woman should speak volumes. I totally get not wanting to wait, but it's so irresponsible to risk it. Don't be selfish, wait until after you give birth.

Infection isnt the only issue. Its the fact that a tattoo creates an open wound, so your body takes the attention away from growing a fetus and puts more attention to the healing of said tattoo. Literally any REPUTABLE tattoo artist will deny you as soon as you say you're pregnant, and if they don't, then they probably shouldn't be tattooing ✌🏻
