Who’s the one at fault?
So little of back story, I work at a famous pizzeria & have been there for 2 years. I have only served 4 times since I’ve been there because it’s family owned & extremely hard to serve. (Managers make it known that you only get a serving shift once & a blue moon. Well, we just got a new manager & she brought a girl to start working there. They both (the manager & the girl have been friends for many years & started this job 2 mo ago) ever since this girl & manager started, the girl has been getting special treatments. She has now been serving at least once a week which is unfair since I & others don’t even get to serve once a week. Last Sunday a server called out and the girl (who was already working a double on Togo ) before even asking a manager took the shift & tried making me stop bussing (a double on bussing) work her Togo shift so she can serve. I told the manger I didn’t want to & rather stay on bussing. He asked me why & I voiced my opinion about how it’s unfair to 1. Move me so she can serve AGAIN 2. How nobody else is given a opportunity to serve but her. I also love bussing and was excited to buss all day. He then agreed & said she can’t serve that shift & how it is unfair since she’s worked less time than me & put me on to serve. Now she is mad at me, calling me a crybaby & told her friend manager & her friend manager also is saying the same thing. Am I wrong?
