My mom was going to throw a baby shower for me, but that all went south because she didn’t like the theme I chose as an option. Then it went to how she offended my boyfriend and the name of his deceased uncle (she called it a gay man’s name), which is some of the reason his mom wouldn’t come to the shower. She doesn’t like it when someone is honest with her about stuff. So she cancels the baby shower.

We get a call from my boyfriend’s dad about how his mom could throw a baby shower. We are going to their house to talk about it tomorrow. I don’t know if my family would even show up because of how my mother acts, and they never hold her accountable for her actions. They act like my mom is a freaking saint.

I don’t know if my mom should be invited. She has already made me stress out during this pregnancy. I don’t need to worry about her and my bf’s mom arguing.

I’ve already told my boyfriend that I don’t care if they get along or not. I’m not throwing two birthday parties.
