Need some insight!

Hi there!! Okay, so I’m 3 days late for my period. I took a blood test Wednesday, was negative. No signs of my period & super nauseous. Do I go buy some at home tests? My progesterone level was at a 10, and hcg was negative but my doctor really gave no explanation, just that I could keep taking tests? Help!
