Was I rude? 😟🤔

Here’s some backstory before I tell you what I did
My husband and I hardly see each other. He works 5am-10pm usually about everyday. (He doesn’t have to work this much he just likes a really big check) The days he is off (once a week) he visits his mother and father (2 hours away) when he gets off work either I had already ate and I’m about to go to bed or he stays on the phone with his parents. Everytime he walks in the door he says “let me call my parents” and stays on the phone for 30min. By this time I’m asleep and we spend zero time together. Lately I have been missing my husband dearly. I have felt lonely and missing his attention and love. Our sex life went from every day to 2 times a week. 
Anyways last night I was really down about missing him. He gets home and we need to go out to buy dinner. I meet him in the car with our son and first thing he does as soon as I buckle up is say “let me call my parents” y’all I’m already annoyed because he calls his dad and mom when he is at work at least 2 times a day. Anyways I drove this time because he wanted me to 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have no idea where this place is we are going because I’ve never drove there and I forgot my phone at home so I couldn’t use gps. This place is about 20min away from home. Anyways I’m getting close but I have no idea where to turn. My husband is still on the phone and finally says “hey guys I have to go we are about to get some food” his mom kept talking to our son who is just 1 and he had no idea what was going on. She was like “hiiiiiiio my child how are you oh my goodness hiiiiii” and my husband said “mom I need to go” and she ignored him again and kept saying things to my baby that’s sleeping. Anyways I finally hung the phone up because she literally always does this when he says he has to go and because I needed to know where I was going. I was annoyed at the fact she couldn’t respect that he needed to get off the phone. My husband yelled at me because I was so disrespectful and rude to his mom. I just wanted to have a conversation with him but he always chooses his parents and I was stressed in the moment about where I’m going. Was I rude?

Although I wouldn’t have done that, he sounds childish and if he’d rather talk to his parents than you, then that’s a problem. You need to sit down and have a conversation with him and tell him how you feel.

I get why your annoyed but it’s not your MIL fault. It’s the lack of communication in your relationship and your husband. You need to have a mature conversation not in the heat of the moment.
I talk to my parents every morning before work. That way it doesn’t interfere with my time with my husband at dinner time. 
As a couple you have to find a balance, be able to discuss issues, and come to resolutions together. Also mention the change in your sex life, calmly. And tell him you miss it and the attention.

Mmm a little rude but he told her he had to go and she kept talking, plus you needed to know where the place is and that's more important. I'm surprised you guys have sex that much since not seeing eachother much lol but yes he needs to make more time for you both, he sees them enough and speaks to them at work, I think that's enough.

No, you need your husband's full attention.he wasn't giving it to you so you grabbed the phone and turned it off so you can find out where the hell you were going so you didn't cause an accident. I would have done it.

Rude? Yes. But honestly I might have done the same thing or at least yelled “get off the phone NOW please”. Also it sounds like you need to have a convo with your husband, you wouldn’t be so frustrated if he was a little more present at home.
