Is it true that now after having a tube removed, I only have a chance at getting pregnant every other month?

I had my ectopic tube removal surgery on 12/6. First period returned on 1/16. I’ve been trying my ovulation tests and they’ve all come back negative. I’m thinking that I might’ve ovulated from the side that doesn’t have a tube. It’s really discouraging since we got pregnant so easily last time and now we feel knocked down even more after losing our pregnancy.
