Help! Possible eye infection?

Does anyone know what this might be from? He is only a week old and has goop all in his eyes every time he wakes up and sleeps.. I feel so bad, the doctors office is closed until tomorrow ☹️

clean with a warm compress. If you are breastfeeding out Breastmilk on it. Do that until you can get in

Clogged tear duct most likely. If it’s only goopy/crusty after sleeps it’s probably fine. My little guy had this for the first 3 weeks and it just cleared up on its own. Warm compresses after sleeps makes it easy to clean off! 
If his eye makes gunk while he’s awake it may be an infection.
