should i bring up valentines day?!

i’ve been dating a guy for about 8 months and he hasn’t brought up valentines day i know it may seem like im overthinking it .. but im worried he may forget about valentines day.. i dont wanna seem annoying or desperate by bring it up but its giving me anxiety.. would you guys bring it up or would you just wait to see when the day comes?

I would ask him if he celebrates Valentine’s Day and what his feelings are regarding the day. I would not wait and then get disappointed when it’s valentines day and he hasn’t done anything.

Dating for 8 months? Are you exclusive yet? 8 months of dating seems weird. Dating is meant to determine if you want to move into something more. If after 8 months he’s not ready to commit maybe he’s not that into you and that’s why he hasn’t brought up Valentine’s Day.

You could approach it with something laid back if you wanted to. Like ‘hey want to make pizzas from scratch & watch a movie at home for valentines day?’ Or if you want to go out for the night say ‘Lets go see X for Valentines Day and get some dinner or dessert after.’
