Anyone else waiting till after anatomy ultrasound to announce?

We have already told close friends, family and work but we I finally decided to do a social media, family picture announcing after our anatomy ultrasound just in case... I will be 19 weeks pregnant.

Right there with you!  Due to multiple losses, I’m not sure when and if I’ll feel ready to announce publicly - but will likely do so after the anatomy scan... or maybe until 24 weeks🤷‍♀️

Only 5 people know I'm pregnant (aside from me and my partner obviously). We're just letting people figure it out, currently 18+5 so I'm assuming people will notice more soon. Scan on the 13th and I dont think I'll tell people after that either. Not announcing on social media until the baby is born!

We’ve told immediate family but no one else. We plan on announcing around 20 weeks. I just get paranoid and want to know everything is ok before telling anyone. Plus I like that we have our own secret for awhile. 
We did the same thing with our first 2 kiddos as well. It made me feel better that I was far along and it made the wait so much shorter for people from the time the find out to the birth.

We waited until after my NIPT test/results. I ended up being about 13 weeks.

We had a miscarriage 2018. Took a year to get pregnant again. We told our parents at 14 weeks. Not announcing till 20wks

The only people who know are of course my husband, my mom, and my in-laws. Tomorrow is my anatomy scan so if everything goes great, then we will think about announcing! I will be 18 weeks 5 days at my scan!

I'm waiting, but mostly because I don't really care for all the extra attention. I'm 15 weeks, going to wait til my next appointment, I think they'll do the anatomy scan that day at 18 weeks. I mean they can do it as early as 16 weeks, so probably. If not I'll go ahead with the announcement of baby and wait for gender announcement.

After having a miscarriage in December and being pregnant now, me and my husband have decided not to tell anyone till I’m at least 14/15 weeks AND we know the gender. That way we can just do a gender reveal along with everyone finding out.
