I’m 36 and 2. Sex gives me contractions. Is that dialating/softening my cervix?

Finished having sex. Probably have had 5 contractions in about 10-15 minutes. I know sex can cause contractions. But is this doing anything to my cervix? Please say yes 😂😅

Semen can help soften your cervix but for many women not even sex helps them dilate. However i did go into labor at 37 weeks exactly right after having sex. My water broke when i got up from bed and i went straight to the hospital. I was already 5 cm when i got there

Sex used to cause contractions while I was pregnant but they eventually died down after a couple hours. But I did go into labour at 39 weeks a couple hours after sex 😅
