We are recently married and he’s told me for years that when we get married we will try. Now he is saying that he is not so sure. I feel really weird about it. What do I do?

I’d ask him to explain if he wants to just wait or if he is reconsidering having kids altogether.

That’s a deal breaker. He has the right to change his mind and you have the right to want to be with someone who wants kids. I would find out immediately if this is something permanent. Communication about this topic is so important / you absolutely have to be on the same page whether that’s a life with or without children. Pacifying someone to avoid conflict or hurting their feelings is not okay if that’s what he did.

I mean ask if he means not right now or not ever.. and to me theres a good compromise.. not now is ok.. not ever isnt
