Currently my husband and I have decent jobs and make over 120k a year combined. The problem is - we don't like our location. We have two young kids and are big outdoorsy people and there isn't a lot to do around here.

My husband was offered a transfer at his company to a bigger city surrounded by mountains and trails. He will be making 10k more than he is now BUT I do not have a job lined up and they want an answer now. He has been working at this new location temporarily and we have been to visit and really like the area.

My family is all here and I'm afraid to leave and break their hearts, and also have no support system with the kids. I am also anxious about selling our home, cutting our income by 50k until I find a job, and not having a good daycare lined up for when I so find a job (waitlists). But overall we feel the move will provide a better quality of life for our children.

There are benefits and downfalls to both options - what would you do?
