My littlest brother is sick, so this morning he coughed right onto my step mother. Now I told him to cover his mouth to not get us sick. So my other lil brother had playfully said to get our dad sick and not us. I laughed and said "Why you so mean?" Still joking with him. My step mom then looks at me and asks me why I said that. I told her what my brother said and what I said.

She goes off and says "He was joking, that was really uneeded". Now I didn't want to snap and say something wrong back (which I do sometimes as I get really defensive which I picked up from living with my bio mom) so i said sorry and started to walk away to the kitchen before I do something else wrong. She started getting all angry and tells me to come back. But then tells me to go away. And at that point I didn't even know what I did wrong.

Then she loudly complains to my siblings how me walking away was disrespectful.

At this point I just think I don't belong with my father and step mother.
