What is your household income and how much did you pay for your home?

Just curious how far a salary will go vs. home price (of course other debt would be factored in too).

idk exactly how much my parents make but they bought the home in 2014 for a ~$2 mil downpayment and $20k-30k/mo in mortgage. 
my bf and i make a combined income of $200k-260k base salary and will be renting for $6k/mo. his sister and her soon-to-be fiancé make $160k combined and plan to buy a house worth $500k.

I’m moving into an apartment at the end of March for $839 a month. I make about $2700 a month before taxes

We bought our house for 165k as it was a foreclosure but it’s worth 300k. We only owe 138k on it now. 
Currently I’m finishing my masters degree so I barely work and we make a little over 100k. Once I’m finished, pass boards, and get a job together we’ll make 215k+ a year. 
Our other debit consists of 20k between two vehicles and my student loans which is 150k. Using the Dave Ramsey plan, we’ll be completely debt free by January of 2023. We than plan on investing in real estate both locally and on the shore. All of that money will go directly to retirement and college funds for our kids.

My husband recently took a lower paying job for a better quality of life... and we’re about $115k/year combined. We paid $227k for our home two years ago.

Household income is $90k+ and we bought our house for $120k. Our monthly mortgage payment is $753, which I LOVE! We do have a bit of student loan and car debt, but we could definitely afford a larger payment if we wanted.
