After changing a diaper and feeding....I swaddle my baby and put him down when he’s sleepy once his head hits the bassinet his eyes open up wide and he stares at anything he can fixate his eyes on. If he’s not fussing, should I just let him lay there? He has laid there for at least 20 minutes wide awake, not saying a peep! I feel like I spend more time trying to make him sleep than just allowing him to lay there...

We have white noise on too.
