Hi!

So I finished my last pack of birth control around the last week of December and I have been going through withdrawal from it since the beginning of January. During January, I had protected sex with my fiance (condom) and now I haven't gotten my period.

Now, whenever I was taking birth control regularly, I still had spotting and very light bleeding during my placebo week. This time around, I haven't bled at all - but I do have very light cramps that have been on and off for a couple of days and my breasts are extremely sore. I took a pregnancy test two days ago and it was negative. My mother suggested that I might have taken it too early.

I was thinking that it may be just from not taking birth control anymore and my body adjusting to it or something of that nature but I'm not sure, of course.

What do you all think?
