Some background, I was a stay at home mom with my son for 8 months before I had to go back to work. Fortunately my older sister manages a housekeeping business and a girl left and they had an opening. The job is flexible with hours/days off and I get to see my sister more and gossip 😬.

I am currently 27weeks (tomorrow 2/4)pregnant with my second child. We got a new girl that started and needed more training since my sister only works 3 days a week since she has class and the girl who is supposed to fully show her how to do the job (a housekeeper) blew her off today she put her with me tomorrow. My sister told me not to worry about rushing to take time to make sure she understands and to check behind her and correct her. I told my sister I'm slow anyways because my back has been hurting the past two days real bad. She instantly asked me if it time for me to take leave, if I needed my hours cut back or if I needed to get smaller houses, I let her know I'm alright I'm just slowing down a little since my last trimester is creeping up.

She didn't ask me as a sister she asked me as my manager we keep our home life and work like pretty well separate. This has been one of the best places I have worked for and I've worked a little bit of every where. Even the owner of the company cares about her employees. It just made me happy to feel like I'm not disposable to them I am valued by this company, something I have NEVER felt at any other job.
