Not really. I lost my best friend over it. I was a curious 13 year old, and her step cousin was like 20 and high. He kept asking after I said no. Then I asked him if him and I were bf/gf and he kissed me and said no because he had a gf. I was disgusted.
My husband on the other hand, I never got over. I truly loved him. I consider him my real “first.” We ended up divorcing, but then we ended up reconciling after 3 years. He passed away about a year ago. I don’t think I’ll ever get over it. 😞
