First Follicle Scan

My wife and I went in for her first follicle scan today! We went in on cd twelve and took letrozole on cd 3-7. Our doctor located one promising follicle on her right ovary measuring at a 14. He searched and searched for her left ovary but couldn’t locate it at all. Has this happened to anyone before? The plan is to trigger early Thursday morning and have our iui mid afternoon on Friday! By that time the one follicle should be at 22mm. We are so excited but I wish we knew what was happening on the left side 🤷‍♀️
