With all my pregnancies I had shortness of breath especially in 1st trimester. Your body is working twice as hard, because you’re baking a baby.

I didn’t notice it or do anything about it until my second trimester, last time. I ended up seeing a pulmonologist, who diagnosed me with asthma and gave me an inhaler. I haven’t used it since but may break it out now as I’m really having trouble the last few weeks and I’m only going to be 12 weeks this Thursday.

Last pregnancy, my OB was very aggressive about it and did a whole cardiac workup and EKG and bloodwork. Everything was fine.
