Does own cause a slight odor? It’s fishy but slightly also noticed itchiness and vagina a bit sore and irritated

A fishy smell often occurs with BV (bacterial vaginosis- at least I throng that’s what it stands for. Which would mean you would need an antibiotic. You can also have both at the same time. I get BV a lot right before my period and once I have my period it clears up.

I’ve had them before but I’ve never noticed a smell

Mine smelled more yeasty but yes there is a mild smell.
