Help! Ultrasound and HCG don’t match

So I went in for a 7 week ultrasound. I did a trigger shot on December 29th, so I certainly ovulated that’s day or 2-3 days after. The doctor said the baby was only measuring at 5 weeks 2 days, but my HCG levels are greater than 14,000. They are sending me to high risk for another ultrasound in the next 2 days. Has anyone else had this happen? I’m so lost. I feel like the doctors are afraid to tell me something.

HCG doesn’t always indicate how many weeks. I had over 17,000 at only 4 weeks, which is too early to see anything on an ultrasound. Your levels are great so no need to stress! They’ll just do a follow up ultrasound in a week or two which I’m sure they’ll then be able to see baby ☺️💗Usually 6 weeks is the earliest to see baby x

Oh no! 😭 I’m so sorry to hear 💗 I can’t believe the doctors didn’t pick up on that straight away! That’s usually the first thing they check. Praying you have a quick recovery and are blessed with your rainbow baby soon ❤️🌈

It’s an ectopic. But thanks

Well that’s a little different if your doctor expressed concern. Hopefully they’re giving you a follow up ultrasound in a week and you’ll be able to see more. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼 I hope everything is all okay and you just took a little longer to implant than they first thought ☺️ x

I was at 1800 at 6 weeks I think it was... 3 days later more than doubled to 3900. I was told it doesn't matter how low or high on that weeks spectrum as long as you were at least doubling. 🙂 I was really nervous because the only other pregnancy I've had, in 2016, ended in a miscarriage. So seeing low end numbers for the weeks scared me. I was assured everything was okay. All I can think is "for now." You tend to have doubts when it's happened in the past. Kinda sucks. I'm trying to be positive but sometimes it just doesn't work lol! At least wanted to tell you low end numbers for that we'd spectrum doesn't matter. Going up is what matters 🙂

I started extremely low. My first hcg at 4 weeks was only 28. It ended at approximately 200 by week 5 which is completely normal
