How often do you replace/throw out your underwear?

I just read an article that said you're supposed to replace ALL your underwear ever 6-9 months which just had me....

I don't even remember the last time I bought new underwear 🥴
I know I need new ones but I have a hard time justifying buying underwear for myself god forbid a whole new set every 9 months!
Am I a gross human being or is that a ridiculous timeframe?

I throw them out if they rip or get stained or stretched out... otherwise, I still have a couple pairs of underwear that I got in 8th grade...... lmao

When they get worn out. Some lace pairs don't last that long. But I've had some pairs forever

Not gross at all! Lol I have some underwear I wore in elementary school 10 years ago 😂 it still looks good! I only throw it out when it has holes or it is totally washed out. I dont think it’s necessary to switch to new ones that often. Lets save our planet a bit 🌱🍃

I get rid of them whenever they fall apart or stain. Even if they stain, they become my period underwear 😂

I'm not going to throw out perfectly good period undies. I get new ones rarely but, when I do the old ones (unless they are ripped) get used for my period. There's no sense in throwing out underwear that is completely intact.

I have an underwear subscription that delivers cute panties to my door! Whenever I go to target I use the 5/$20 and stock up. I LOVE cute underwear lol I go through my drawer when it’s overflowing

I have over 100 pairs of brand new underwear. I typically buy a brand new pack every month or two. After I reached my weight goal, I bought tons of underwear, clothes, bras, etc and I just add to it whenever I want.
