I feel so pressured to have kids at a young age! I’m 23 & I’m always hearing people around me say that it’s better to have your kids young because you get to see your grandchildren, you’ll be looking great while your kid is older & you’ll be able to have fun since your child is grown! I hear this all the time! Some of my family members talk about it with me and honestly I feel like I’m too young rn ! I can barely take care of myself , so how would I even take care of a child ! If I was in a better place , with my career already finished , then I’d probably have one already ! But I don’t think it’s fair to be shamed for not having a child at 20-25 ! I’m really glad a lot of people got to have their kids at a young age , I’m just not as prepared as i want to be and I’m annoyed that I feel pressured by so many people around me! 😞
