Mucus plug??

For the past few days I have been having more discharge than normal. I just went to the restroom and saw a glob of mucus. Is this the mucus plug? And If so, how soon does labor start?

The mucus plug can come out a few weeks before labor starts, look more for a bloody show, pretty much the mucus plug but with a pink/brown tinge to it. Bloody show usually means labor will start soon

Mucus plug can regenerate so losing it is not necessarily a sign of labor as you could still loose it weeks before labor. more a sign your body is getting ready.

I’m 40 weeks and I’ve been getting the same thing for 7+ days 😩 no sign of labor yet
