What did your delivery cost?

I know it depends on insurance, but just out of curiosity, what did your labor/ delivery/ hospital stay end up costing? Before insurance and after! C section? Natural? Epidural? NICU? 
Interested to see the differences.

We had a c section for our twins with 2 circumcisions and 48 hour stay. was $120,000. My husband is military so we didn’t pay. But I thought that was a crazy amount. The circumcisions were 5 grand each 😳

No cost to me with my insurance! Tricare and seen on base so all covered thankfully.

I think mine was 8-9k. I paid one thousand. Vaginal birth, no epidural, two night stay, no NICU. ￼

Vaginal delivery and it was over $13,000. I paid $500 total (this included all my ultrasounds, appts, and me and babies postnatal appts). Insurance covered the rest.

I think the birth itself was about 20,000 but my insurance covered everything but my little man’s NICU stay was well over 300,000 (12 weeks) and luckily we got him on state insurance so it was fully covered too.

My first was covered by Medicaid so no cost to me. My second the total before insurance was a little over $14,000 and the amount I was billed after they paid was $2,700. I had an epidural and stayed one night. That doesn’t include the $3,600 I paid to my OB for prenatal care.

First labor was $3600 total with epidural. It was vaginal and only a 48 hour stay with no NICU.
Second labor was $0. Vaginal, and a 24 hour stay. 
I had Web TPA with my first and then Tricare with my second.
