This happened to me years ago after giving birth to my second daughter. Dr said it wasn’t normal, but he prescribed me a pill that would basically restart my period and get my cycle back on track. And it worked!

I'm sorry but hasnt happened to me personally mine are always long. But this last cycle I did have some spotting a week after af. Kinda hoping it was implantation but the likely of that I know is unlikely but anyways have you talked to your doctor about it maybe she can explain it? Sorry I couldnt help.
