Has anyone put their 3 or 4 year old into swimming lessons?

How did it go? Did they enjoy it? Debating on what class to start my preschooler in and wondered if others had good or bad experiences with it. Other suggestions welcome as well!

My son is 2 and has loved being in the water since he was born. We started swimming lessons at around 8 months for him and our experience so far has been incredible. I would highly recommend it. 
One of my concerns was exposing him to germs in a public pool so we found someone that does at home classes so we don’t have to leave the house and he’s in an environment he’s comfortable in. 
My daughter (who’s older) is very afraid of the water and refuses to go near a pool (and makes bathtime a nightmare but that’s another story lol) even after we’ve attempted a few times. 
I would say try it! See what your kid likes and hopefully it goes well!

Our public pools offer lessons starting from 6 months, My parents did that with me and I always loved to swim.
