What would you do?

So I know gender reveals aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I wanted to celebrate this baby without asking for gifts or a shower, etc. so we are doing a reveal. I invited our close friends and close family, and MIL & SILS haven’t RSVPed or said anything for 2 weeks now. What do you think? Would this bother you a bit? I find it strange, but I’m trying to let it go and celebrate baby with or without them... 
It’s in a week if that changes anything.

They might just think it’s assumed that they’re coming. It’s annoying but I would just follow up with them and ask nicely.

My SIL And MIL and literally everyone from my husbands side... didn’t come to our baby shower for my daughter. It bothered me. It still bothers me when I think back. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I didn’t even need the presents, just to know that my baby and I mattered enough for them to get their butts up off the couch to come to celebrate with us. We invited 65 people. 22 RVSP’d yes. 9 people including the 2 hosts were there. I felt like the biggest loser in the world. 😕
