I have to start taking iron pills FTM and wanted to know what iron pills do you recommend ? I read that they make you constipated ...

My doctor gave me a prescription for these. They haven’t given me an trouble yet!

Definitely a slow release iron as it won’t upset the stomach as much. As for the constipation, it dan definitely happen with iron supplements- consider added in a fiber capsule or a Colace.
