Little Sunday Rant!
I am 28 weeks pregnant. Just got over influenza b and now my 18month old has it and I think I am getting it back! She is unusually fussier, runny nose (which requires lots of nose wipes) and just not herself. She went to sleep at 7pm last night and woke at 630 this morning. I judged him to get up with her given I coughed and felt congested. He proceeds to whip the covers off himself, looks at his phone and says “I’m not getting up at 630”. He brings her back into our bedroom to try to lay her down. (That’s NEVER worked previously why would it now!?) She coughs and coughs and sits herself up cause she’s near puking from all the mucus. I asked him “do you not care about her”. & he said I’m right here she’s fine. I said she’s nearly puking! He proceeds to ask me “what’s wrong with you”!? EXCUUUUUUUUUSE ME! 😤 He gets up with her and microwaves her a waffle.. she doesn’t want it. Mind you her appetite isnt 100% yet since she’s sick. My 4yo comes into my bedroom upset cause her dad was stopping and slamming things around and wake her up. LO follows her into the bedroom where I am laying and she’s crying throwing a fit. I get up, put my robe on and ask him what he is doing!? He says “don’t talk to me like that”. I said well you’re pissing me off! I proceed to find LO one something she is satisfied with eating. She thought she wanted oatmeal and pineapple, but proceeds to throw it on the floor. Him sitting on the couch says “NO!” — get your MF ass up and take it from her!! 🤬 I’m trying to bite my tongue. At this point it’s about to fall off! Both kids are off playing now and he’s sitting on the couch sleeping.... next to the Kleenex. I have had to ask multiple times for a Kleenex as he stares at me like what!? 🤦🏻♀️ annoyed annoyed annoyed! Mainly annoyed at the fact he talks to me the way he does when it’s either the middle of the night and the kids wake or early in the morning.. this is a mutual thing homeboy!!!! He has a rude of awaking when this next baby comes and it’s strictly bottle fed! RANT OVER!!
