How long should i wait?

So i bleached and then dyed my hair with a semi permanent color today at home. I want to get it fixed in a salon but i dunno how much i should wait to avoid damaging my hair???

Theres a lot of information that goes into that. Your best bet is go to a salon and talk to a stylist because they can actually see and touch your hair and test its elasticity. It also depends on what needs to be done to it to "fix" it. Like it depends on what you want it to look like vs what it looks like now and if thats really achievable.

So. As someone else said there is a lot of information that goes into this. I’m a licensed stylist in my state and have been in the industry for seven years. You should never lighten your hair at home. I’m not judging you, I’m just saying. Now with that being said, I recommend googling reputable salons in your area. Read the reviews and choose from there. It’s important that you find someone proficient in color. Just because people get their license, does not mean they’re any good. You know what I mean? The semi is fine. It doesn’t penetrate deep enough into the hair shaft number one and number two, it won’t damage your hair. It doesn’t use a developer and therefore cannot penetrate the cortex. It’s non-oxidative, so you’re fine on that front. I would recommend deep conditioning once a week if your hair is breaking or damaged from the lightener. Let the semi fade out. Set up a consultation appointment with a salon, if they’re able to do that. Tell your stylist about your hair history. Anything you’ve done within the last couple years, chemically speaking. It’s important that a stylist knows everything you’ve done recently, so they can help you appropriately.

I did a box dye a long time ago and stupidly believe that I could go from brown to light blonde in one go. That’s what the box said... anyway my hair was orange and yellow after.  I waited just under a week and went to the salon.  My hair was fine but I did have to sign a waiver because of the risk.

If its box dye they tend to wait because you destroyed the hair bad

Did you dye straight after bleaching? If so it might take over a month before your hair is in a good enough shape to have any treatment. Depending on your hair condition you might have to wait up to a month anyway. Best bet is to go into a salon and ask so they can look at your hair condition themselves.
