If they did it openly in front of you and it was always around, what age did you start smoking weed?

We have valid concerns with what's happening at my step daughters other house. She's only 11.

To be clear and give a little more info... We dont allow it and we do not do it ourselves.

But the mom and step dad do. (He's actually a full on drug dealer but as far as we know, THAT is kept out of the house.) He has a green card and flaunts it.

She has been showing signs every visit over the past month-ish... Shes just so young that I wanted to hear from other people if this was even a possibility at that age in a household like this. I had a very sheltered childhood and it's hard for me to imagine a lot of things she's already been through.

Bonus: what would you do at this point?

I don't feel we could straight up ask her about it because she is a liar. (I know. 🤦‍♀️ We've sunk every extra penny into battling for custody. The mom is awful and the step dad is even worse. They've lead her down a bad path and there's only so much we can do with the time we have.)

My husband suggested a drug test. I said I think it's too soon and a bit drastic over a hunch.

After i pointed everything out he agreed its likely . (we had previously been blaming behavioral changes on hormones)

I asked him to just keep it in mind as we see her. See what he notices and talk after our next visit with her...?
