How long do you n baby have to stay in the hospital if you’re GBS positive. Last baby I had they made us stay 48 hours, so I asked and they said yes 48 hours. If I go into labor and don’t have enough time for antibiotics, we have to stay for 48 hours. If I get the 2 full doses of antibiotics (which is best case scenario) I still have to stay 48 hours. That makes absolutely no sense to me. I have 2 young kiddos at home and hate being stuck in the hospital. Do I have a choice? Anyone else have insight on this?
